Background
Wessex Water's headquarters is considered one of the greenest offices in Europe, part of the company's environmental pledge to cut emissions and reduce travel through video conferencing.
Challenge
Staff needed to find and book regional meeting rooms and video conferencing easily, and the company wanted fewer meeting rooms sitting empty.
Solution
Wessex Water implemented Resource Central integrated with Microsoft 365 calendaring, touchscreens outside meeting rooms for on-the-spot booking, receptionist parking management and Skype for Business room booking.
Result
Room utilisation improved. Unused rooms are released proactively, and staff pick rooms sized to their actual need.
