UZ Leuven is Belgium's largest university hospital, with three campuses, around 2,000 beds and around 10,000 employees.
Challenge
UZ Leuven needed a central reservation system to find and book rooms by location, size and facilities, combined with catering and other services, fully integrated with Microsoft Exchange and Outlook.
Solution
UZ Leuven implemented Resource Central and Digital Sign Client, delivered by reseller partner IKANDA. 80 meeting rooms have digital conference room signs, and staff order catering, adjust attendee counts, book table setups, Wi-Fi codes and parking from the same tool.
Result
Three years after implementation, the system is considered indispensable to the organisation.
